What is it that makes interdisciplinary collaborations successful? A common background, character, a shared interest or just pure chemistry? In a transitional time where the influence of news organisations is constantly being challenged and any individual has the ability to voice their stories, we would like to invite you. Are you a journalist or designer looking for an exciting way to present stories? Come and join this workshop and meet the most other professionals.

Engaging with News is a one-day workshop for a select group of participants at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. From a speed dating format, the program is focusing on the unique qualities of each individual. ACED will function as host and matchmaker, who will facilitate a setup where a new form of cross-field collaboration can be formulated. The goal of this session is to generate a cross-disciplinary sphere and potential future collaborations within a limited amount of time. The session will be supervised by Noortje van Eekelen, Belle Phromchanya and Wilbert van der Heijden.
