OPEN CALL: Join our new Spark Narration program

Apply for a grant and professional guidance on your initiative

Are you a designer or artist with a great interest in journalistic and social issues? Or are you a journalist or researcher who is curious about the possibilities of design? Spark Narration is a program of ACED and VersPers that enables interdisciplinary development between journalists and designers.

On May 25 a new round of Spark Narration will start, where you as a designer or journalist can submit your plan. Do you take the chance to discover and realize contemporary forms of storytelling and experimental journalistic productions? With this collaborative program, the conceptual capacity of creatives and the analytical expertise of journalists are optimally used to develop cross-border productions.

Interesting concepts and exciting initiatives are eligible for a grant of 1000 euros per project and 3 months of professional guidance.

Interested in being part of the new round of Spark Narrations? Easily register before 14 May via this form. Registration is mandatory due to the limited number of places. The selected candidates will be invited on 18 May.

ACED
ACED is an international interdisciplinary platform for design and journalism. We facilitate media organizations in discovering and creating new forms of experimental journalistic productions, that resonate with a contemporary audience. In parallel, we conduct research on how design and journalism are able to strengthen each other.

VersPers
VersPers is a platform specialized in training, creating and inventing innovations in journalism. At VersPers the boundaries of journalism are sought, creative thinking techniques help the editors to make productions that are not necessarily classical journalism, but do tell the journalistic story at the core.
